Strep A Antibiotics

We can prescribe antibiotics for bacterial strep throat, which causes sudden throat pain, difficulty swallowing, red swollen tonsils (sometimes with pus), tiny red spots on the palate, swollen neck glands, fever, headache, rash, nausea, or vomiting, especially in children. Meningitis B

A serious bacterial or viral infection that can cause brain damage, deafness, blindness, and be fatal. Vaccination reduces risk but isn’t 100% effective.

MMR Vaccination (Private)

Protects against measles, mumps, and rubella which are important for travellers. Two doses needed for full protection, spaced at least four weeks apart.

Pneumococcal

Shingles Vaccine

Traveller’s Diarrhoea

Caused by contaminated food, water, or person-to-person contact. Symptoms include loose stools, fever, cramps, urgent bowel movements, nausea, and vomiting. Mild cases can be treated with rehydration solutions. We can prescribe antibiotics for severe cases.

Alcohol Reduction

Drinking large amounts of alcohol can damage many organs and increase the risk of heart attacks, strokes, and cancer. It can also affect emotional and mental wellbeing, both for the drinker and their loved ones. Speak confidentially with our trained pharmacist for advice and prescribed support.

Allergy Testing
